Ready Go: Battling Endometriosis

This is my journey through the ups and downs of being twenty-something, living with endometriosis and hashimoto's disease, and always seeking answers. The battle continues, day in and day out. I hope to offer comfort to those dealing with similar ailments, and to find myself along the way. Continuous birth control, Lupron, laparoscopies, "Stage 4", TSH, T3, T4, immune disorder, infertility...these will not define me. But maybe my experiences can help a few people know that they are not alone.

I am 25 years old, born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I went to Stanford University where I swam all four years and graduated in 05 with a degree in Communication. I got my Masters from Stanford in 06 in Sociology. I now work in the financial industry, mainly in mutual funds. I am living with Stage 4 Endometriosis and struggling to find the answers. I want to help others with my experiences, and learn from those I meet!
